Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Annice V. Olds received her angel
wings on August 29, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1959 in Princess Anne
County, Virginia to the late Virginia T. Olds and Carl Thomas Jr. She grew up in
the Seatack area of Virginia Beach. She was educated in the Virginia Beach
Public Schools attending Seatack Elementary, Virginia Beach Middle and First
Colonial High. Annice loved the lord and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist
Church.
Annice will always be remembered for her smile, calm demeanor, grace, generosity
and compassion towards others. Anytime you would see her whether she was
riding her bike or taking a stroll in the neighborhood she always took the time to
acknowledge you (even calling out your entire name). She loved to read her bible
and other literary books, playing Sudoku, crossword puzzles, watching the game
show network, dancing and listening to music. She loved listening to Shirley
Ceasar, Patti Labelle, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Michael Jackson and Prince to name
a few. A few of her favorite songs were "Jesus I love calling your name", "Walk
Around Heaven" and "When you've been blessed".
Annice loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her
memories four daughters, Ailicia, Amelia, Anisha and Chasisty Olds; two sons,
Alejandre and Ronald Olds; eight grandchildren, Shanayasia, Lavonya, Anasia,
Anisa, Amaya, Alauna, Amani and Aalayah; one brother, Marvin Olds; two
nephews, Michael and Marvin Knox; two nieces, Keisha Knox and Tamira Jordan;
several great nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
