Cathy's infectious smile and laugh brightened the lives of everyone around her and made our hearts happy. She loved people whole-heartedly without any reservations, whether she'd known you for 40 years or met you moments ago. Cathy had the memory of an elephant and could always be counted on to remember the smallest detail or put a name to a face from long ago. This also made her adept at keeping her field service group from getting lost in the ministry! Cathy was a social butterfly and loved being in the middle of every conversation. For her, personal space bubbles did not exist and there was no such thing as too close between friends. She loved spending time with her family and telling stories of her precious cat, Shadow, and her nephews, Gabriel and Eli. Cathy loved music, singing, and movies and sharing this love with others. Recently, this meant introducing everyone to her favorite movie, The Greatest Showman. Most of all, Cathy loved Jehovah and serving him faithfully to the best of her ability as a part of the Norfolk ASL Congregation. Every morning, she started her day by watching JW Broadcasting or reading the latest Watchtower or Awake. We find comfort in knowing that Jehovah will keep her safe in his memory until we see her again.
