Obituary

Cau Tran was born on May 17th, 1962 in Vietnam. He is the youngest of three siblings. He immigrated to the United States in his early 20s and began his life long career as a cook - in various restaurants. He was a dedicated & hard worker, and was always well treated by his employers.

In his 30s he was introduced to Jenny Tran by a friend. They were immediately attracted to each other. The two would communicate back and forth by letters and phone calls before Cau would go to China, meet her, and after about a week marry her. They would go on to have a family of two boys here in Virginia Beach.
Cau was a devoted family man! He made sure to provide for his family, caring for the needs of his wife and children, and rendering assistance to his sister whenever he could with her restaurant.
When he wasn't working, he would find time to relax and have fun with his fishing buddies - a group of friends who could consistently depend on each other. Friends like Ky Luu and Vinh Hiynh, who he knew for a long time, gentleman who were there to help each other at a moments notice.
Cau is survived by his wife Jenny Tran, his wife of 33 years, sons Daniel and Joshua Tran, sister Mian Evans, brother Phuc Tran, sister in law Nguyen Pham, nephew Michael Tran,  and niece Junelynn Tran. And extended family niece in law Gigi Li, great niece Jolie Li, great nephew Micah Li, and other cousins and relatives.

Cau Tran will be dearly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
