Charlotte
Carnegie
September 12, 1924 – January 10, 2018
Charlotte Carnegie completed her earthly life on January 10, 2018. She was 93 years of age. She is survived by her sister, Regina Florence Erlich of Florida; her three children, Steven (Cynthia), David Robert and Edward; her grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the mother of the late Andrea Constance. She truly loved her grandchildren; Eric (Chery), Kimberlee, Kimberly, Candice, Danielle and was most happy when they were around her.
She was born Charlotte Schreiber in Brooklyn, NY on September 12, 1924. She graduated high school in June 1942. She attended medical college from which she graduated with a certificate in lab technology. Her first job was a lab technician at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Shortly thereafter, she married and raised her family.
She became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in December 1960, and held fast to the beliefs of her faith until the end. It was to these strongly held beliefs that she endeavored to instill in her children and others that she came in contact with. She was an active member of the McCombs Congregation in NYC, then Huntington View Congregation in R.I. and most recently the Kempsville Congregation in Virginia Beach.
She strongly held that God's Kingdom under Christ Jesus is the only hope for all the problems and troubles in the world in which we live. And it is this Kingdom, she believed, that will restore the earth to the original paradisiac conditions. She also believed that this Kingdom under Christ will bring an end to all sickness and even death will be no more. (Revelation 21:4).
Charlotte strongly believed in the hope of the resurrection. She believed that those who die faithful to God and those who did not have opportunity to learn about Jehovah God will be resurrected to life on a paradise earth under the Messianic Kingdom of Christ (John 5:28,29, 11:25,26; Revelation 21:1-4). Over these resurrected ones, Christ with his 144,000 co-rulers will rule and administer the Kingdom blessings.
These co-rulers Revelation 14:1, 3 says have been bought from the earth. When these chosen humans die, they are resurrected immediately – what the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52 describes as "in the twinkling of an eye". She believed this was her resurrection – the reward to which she has attained.Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
