Cresencio Tabujara Dimaya, of Virginia Beach, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014. Cresencio was 73 years old, born on August 11, 1941 in the Balungao province of the Philippines. He joined the United States Navy while in the Philippines in 1960. He proudly served his country for 27 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Altagracia Carino Dimaya and his two sons, Christopher Carino Dimaya and Cresencio "John" Carino Dimaya Jr. He also leaves behind three (3) sisters and two (2) brothers along with their families and many dear friends. Cresencio will be most remembered for the love he had in his heart and the joy he had for life. He was the epitome of a loving husband and a caring father. His spirit will live on through all the people lives he touched. There will be a funeral service held at P.G. Thomasson. The burial will immediately follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetary in Suffolk, Va. The family will receive family and friends at family home.
