Delvin Oliver Hendricks III was born on June 26, 2002, in Virginia Beach, Va. He was the eldest of three children to the loving parents of Delvin Oliver Hendricks Jr. and Jessica Santos Hendricks. His siblings are Viviyana and Liam.

Delvin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jerry Holton and survived by his maternal grandmother Nenita Holton. He was also survived by his paternal grandparents Delvin Oliver Hendricks Sr. and Theresa Hendricks. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and many cousins, who loved him dearly.

Delvin graduated from Salem High School in 2020. He ran track from Middle to High School and for the AAU VA Beach Flames, where he received numerous medals. He also attended ECPI where he studied Information Technology.

Delvin was a lively, animated, and spirited young man. He brought light and laughter to all he encountered. He had a healthy appetite for all types of food. He loved music and dancing. Delvin was a huge help in both Lola's gardens. As a family they enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, fishing, and crabbing.

Throughout the years Delvin has created many friends and wonderful memories all of which we all will remember. We all have a "Delvin Story"!

We will dearly miss our son, brother, and Friend.
