Dennis "Denny" Odell Dahlum Sr. was born on December 8, 1943, in Volga, South Dakota, to the late Harry Dahlum and Vivian Granhum (Dahlum). A proud veteran, Denny served with honor in the U.S. Army and completed three tours in Vietnam.

Denny was a warm, outgoing man who never met a stranger. His infectious personality and kind heart touched everyone he met. He was truly beautiful inside and out, and his passing has left a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marlene Dahlum.

Denny leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his sister, Sherry Dahlum-Frykman; brother, Darrel Linn; his children, Linda Dahlum, Dennis O. Dahlum Jr., Michael Dahlum, Jamie Dahlum, and Jeremih Dahlum; along with ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Though his earthly journey has ended, Denny's legacy of compassion, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain with us always.
