She had a remarkable ability to listen and understand, making her a pillar of support in her community.

Dorothy's heart was filled with love, especially for the children she cared for, embracing and nurturing them as if they were her own. She had an incredible gift for turning a little into a lot, using patience, determination, and resourcefulness to ensure her family and friends always had what they needed and often what they wanted. Her unwavering dedication and boundless love were a beacon of support to all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Phillip Wilson; beloved children, Natalie Wilson and Phillip A. Wilson; cherished grandson, Keshawn Daughtry; loving sisters, Beatrice Lewis, Rosa Bryant, Brenda Edmond, Linda Lee, and Lisa Edmond; and brother, Randall Lee Edmond. One of her greatest joys was enjoying crabs, from snow crabs to blue crabs, whether steamed or fried. For most of her life, she was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she built cherished relationships and actively participated in spiritual activities.

Her love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
