John Samuel Greene Jr. was born October 27, 1964 at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth Va. to John
Samuel Greene Sr. and Betty Bryan Greene.

He spent his early childhood traveling in a military family, later settling in Va Beach, VA,
where he was educated in Va Beach Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age
under the leadership of Pastor Claude Parham of Christ Tabernacle of Faith in Va Beach.

Throughout his childhood John excelled in basketball, football and achieved numerous
awards and accolades through the many challenges of life. John was a warrior. He
maintained his sense of humor, humble spirit, and great love for his family.

John unexpectedly passed away on November 21, 2022. He is preceded in death by his
father John S. Greene Sr. Survivors include his mother; Betty Ruth Bryan Greene of Va Beach, children; Carmella, Isaiah, John S. Greene III, sisters; Cassandra McCoy of Charlottesville, VA, Johnsa Morris (Duane) of Charlottesville, VA, Bryan Greene (Nicole) of Va Beach, VA and significant other Melissa Hardy, and sons Johnny and Daniel along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will host repast following the service.
