Kevin Monroe Brown, Jr. passed away with his mother and Step-Father by his side at the St. Luke's Monroe Campus Hospital in Stroudsburg, Pa. on December 24, 2018 at 3:46 pm.
Kevin Monroe Brown, Jr. was born in Queens, N.Y. at Mary Immaculate Hospital in June 14, 1977. Kevin was the first born to the late Kevin Monroe Brown, Sr. and Robyn Brown Davis. Kevin was not only the first born but the first grandchild to the late Gladys Anita Slade and Robert Scott Slade Sr. Kevin was also the first grandson to the Margo E. Bearden and Charles W. Brown, both deceased.
Kevin's father had 5 siblings-Charlene, Charles (AKA Chucky), Roxanne, Jeffrey and Karen (AKA Auntie), who called him "lil Kevin" and alsco "Piggy-Boy".
Kevin's mother, Robyn had 7 siblings-his uncle Kevin and Aunt Lorrie have precede him in death, Uncle Robert Jr., Brien, Catherine AKA (Aunt Kay), Torrie and Kyle, who also were like brothers to him.
Kevin's life was enhanced ultimately when entered his life was his baby girl Saniyah Anita Brown.
Kevin graduated from Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst, N.Y. Inwood is where he enjoyed his childhood and teenage years. Kevin had the love of the community and love for the community.
Kevin finally landed his dream job in the film industry with the assistance and encouragement from his cousin Raymond.
Kevin leaves behind precious daughter Saniyah, his siblings Trevor, Rayna, Trent, Anthony and Gregory.
Kevin also left behind his nephews Joshua and Maxwell and Niece Madisyn, cousins Paul Jr., Renitta, Rodney, Skyler, Terrin, Serenity, Joshua, Charmai, Andrew, Slade Cousins, Cook Cousins and Isaac Cousins.
Timothy Davis stepped into his life at the age of 5, setting a positive example for him and his brothers. This extended family still remained in his life until the end with uncles: Dennis, Rodney and Darren and Aunts: Michelle, Diane and Terri.
In appreciation: the Brown/Davis family would like to thank you all for your acts of kindness, support and hearfelt prayers and words of encouragement during this time.
Also, we would like to thank everyone else who has helped in any way to lighten our burden during this difficult time.
