Our Dear Kevin Antionne Thompson was born on October 25, 1976 in New York to his parents, Kim Boston and the Late George Thompson.

Kevin was affectionately called "Kap" by his family and close friends.

Before coming to Virginia, he was educated in the New York Public School System.  He dutifully worked for many years for Marriott Hotels and part-time at the YMCA South Hampton Roads.

Kap enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with family.  He was an avid New York Knicks fan and enjoyed watching every game possible.  He also enjoyed watching wrestling.

He is survived by his mother, Kim Boston (Eric Boston-stepfather); a Significant Other, Tenika Green; Sons:  Kyvon Thompson, Kyshawn Thompson, Giovanni Thompson, Cameron Thompson and Ke'sin Carter; Daughters: Jaleiah Thompson and Jewel Thompson; a stepdaughter, Aaniyah (a/k/a Beans); Brothers: Reginald Thompson and Daniel Thompson; a Great Aunt: Cora Alson; Aunts: Diane Smalley, Corinne Smalley, Patti McElveen, Denise Braswell and Geraldine Thompson; Uncles: William Smalley and Clyde Smalley as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
