Lorraine Ferebee was born on August 1, 1952, in Princess Anne County, Va to the late Theresa Ferebee. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses early on in her life.

She was predeceased by her mother, Theresa Ferebee, granddaughter, Teresa Ferebee and sister-in-law Renee Ferebee.

Survivors include her brother Michael Ferebee, and sister Paulette Ferebee.

Children: Angela Ferebee, Michael A. Ferebee (Jeanine) and Lamont Ferebee.

Grandchildren: Unique Bentley, Tonea Thompson (Andrew), Antonio Smith, Xaviera Reid, LaTonya Ferebee, Candace Ferebee, Antoinette Ferebee and Noel Craig.

Great-grandchildren: Tatum Thompson, Yasmine Bentley, a niece Renee M. Ferebee and friends who became her family.

Lorraine loved playing cards, listening to music, telling jokes, watching tv shows like Matlock, Monk, etc. More than that, she loved attending Christian meetings of Jehovah's witnesses in praise of Jehovah. Lorraine's favorite scripture was Isaiah 6:8  "Then I heard the voice of Jehovah saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" And I said: "Here I am! Send me!" In response to that call, she served for many years while dedicating more than 20 years serving as a regular pioneer spending 90 hours monthly in assisting others to come to know and love Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ. She assisted in adding an entire family to learn the truth. In addition to aiding her children to learn the truth, she aided at least ten others to come to know and dedicate themselves to Jehovah.

Thousands were touched by her loyalty, forgiving spirit, honesty, enthusiasm, Integrity, and courage. Lorraine was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
