Obituary

Luvine (Luvinia) Marrie Robinson fell asleep in death on April 25, 2026. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 2, 1959 to Luther & Angelene Robinson. Being the youngest of two older siblings, Luther Jr. & Angelene, Luvinia gladly filled her role as "the baby". Those closest to her knew her as Muggie, a childhood nickname given to her by her mother which followed her into her adulthood. After having gone into foster care for a time, by the age of 12 her older Sister Angelene and brother-in-law Bud took her into their home to raise alongside their children. Her sister Angelene was only 18 at the time. Luvinia's & Angelene's bond became inseparable. Though young herself, Luvinia aided in helping to raise her nieces and nephews. All grew fond of her cooking, especially her Lasagna!

By age 20 Luvinia enlisted in the Army. Her time in the military played a large part in her disciplined disposition. It also influenced her then love of the popular T.V. show M*A*S*H. She later met Eddie Robinson at work. She wasn't immediately smitten by his charm. However, his persistence, kind demeanor, curly hair, and genuine affection that he showed towards her 2 year old son, Giovanni, won her heart as they both won his. They fell in love and married on June 17th 1988. Later they had two more children together, Antwoine & Shante.

Luvinia studied the bible with Jehovah’s witnesses on & off since her teenage years. What she was learning from the bible kept drawing her back. After studying for many years, she made the life altering decisions to be baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in November of 2010. She felt that her life improved for the better.

Riddled with a number of ongoing illnesses and the loss of her husband in 2021, her strong ties and loving support from her family kept her grounded. Luvinia also learned from the bible that Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus Christ, will soon undue all of the pain and suffering that she contended with. She believed in the hope that God would soon resurrect those who fell asleep in death and will restore the earth to the paradise that he originally intended for humans. All of these factors helped Luvinia press on through difficulties and uncertainties.

Luvinia was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Eddie, her brother-in-law Bud (Richard Sr.), & her nephew Richard Jr. She is survived by: her siblings, Angelene Aytch-Lesinowski (Hoy) & Luther Robinson Jr.. Her children Giovanni, Antwoine, & Shante. Her nieces & nephews, Thomas (Shannon), Adrian (Tony), & Katrina, and all of their children who lovingly knew her as "Aunt Muggie". Her brothers & sisters in-law Barry, Calvin (Tara), Theresa (Rodney), Danita, & Damian, and their children. Her Grandchildren, Tony, Antonio, Ariana & Angelina.

She was loved by so many unnamed family members & friends that are too numerous to mention. She will be missed!
