Nenita Carino (Santos) Holton was born on March 31, 1946, in Pangasinan, Philippines to Casiano & Carmen (Cariño) Santos.  Nena is survived by 2 daughters: Jessica (Delvin Jr.) Hendricks and Marie (Daniel Jr.) Ramos; 7 grandchildren: Micah, Viviyana, Giovanni, Lorenzo, Vanessa, Liam and Jesenia; 2 brothers: Ernesto & Ponciano; and 3 sisters: Julieta, Liwayway, and Charito as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She is pre-deceased by her brother Romeo Santos, her husband Jerry Holton, and her grandson Delvin Hendricks III.

Nenita was 1 of 7 children.  Known fondly as Enit by those closest to her or Nena for short. She completed college with a degree in education. She went on to work abroad in Italy to help her family. There she met Jerry Holton whom she later wed, together they started studying the Bible together with Gary & Linda Fink in Monroe, MI. They continued studying w/ Gary & Linda Stevens. when they moved here to Virginia. She was baptized on April 23, 1991, at Willet Hall w/her husband Jerry.

Nena was a God-fearing woman and spent countless hours sharing her knowledge of Jehovah with her friends, family, and neighbors. She was the epitome of a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother and friend to many. She taught her daughters about everything she loved; how to be loving mothers, how to be strong when facing tragedy, how to quietly work towards peace and happiness, all by keeping Jehovah close. Nenita we will truly miss your genuine smile and laughter. Those smiling eyes with that knowing look and your expressions of love. She is a true friend of Jehovah and stayed faithful till the end.   Nenitas rich legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren.
