Nicolas Guzman,

Was born on December 6, 1939, to Genoveva Jimenez and Ismael Guzman, in the Dominican Republic. His passions growing up were fishing, Baseball, and going to the beach in Andres Boca Chica. He began his career as a Chemical engineer at the Sugar Cane factory in his town at the young age of 18, until retiring in 1985.

He moved to the United States that same year and later worked odd jobs while living in New York. In 1991 he moved his family to Virginia Beach. It was there that his love for Jehovah's teachings finally flourished and he began studying the bible with Brother Edwin Gutierrez who assisted him in symbolizing his dedication to Jehovah by water baptism in June 24, 1995. Nicolas will be lovingly remember by his wife, children, and a host of beloved relatives and dear friends.
