Phillip W.
Harrison
October 31, 1953 – March 18, 2025
Phillip Harrison was 71 years old when he fell asleep in death. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Tommie, their beloved daughter Lauren Shelby Harrison-Hall and his son-in-law Racieth Hall. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Miyan Moore, Liam Harrison-Hall, and step-granddaughter Kaiya Hall—each of whom brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Phillip is also survived by his brothers, Samuel and Michael Harrison, their wives Linda and Danielle, his nephews Wesley and Carmine Harrison (Carmine's wife Ivy), and his niece Chloe Harrison.
Phillip was born on October 31, 1953, in Harlem, New York. Shortly after his birth, his father moved the family to the Bronx and then to Park Slope, Brooklyn; where they put down lasting roots. Phillip had a zest for life, marked by many accomplishments. His most important milestone was dedicating his life to Jehovah in 1969 at the age of 16, during the Peace on Earth International Assembly—an act of faith he upheld for 55 years. In 1982, he was appointed as an elder, as well as served faithfully until March 18,2025 a total of 43 years. Shortly after they were married, from 1980 to 1983 they pioneered together. Phillip was a faithful brother to the very end. His second important accomplishment was his marriage of 45-years to his devoted wife. Their marriage was a beautiful reflection of unity and faith, as they served Jehovah side by side with love, strength and determination, then the addition to their family Lauren being born, they became a close knit of three.
