Obituary

Ronald Raymond Murdock was the fifth child born to Hezekiah and Almira Murdock (both deceased), on September 14, 1946, in the Republic of Panama.

He lived in the communities of Red Tank, La Boca and Paraiso during his formative years, graduating from Paraiso High School with honors in the Class of 1965. Subsequently, he attended the National University of Panama.

Ronald began working for the Panama Canal Company and later transferred to the Department of Defense before migrating to the U. S. where he worked for the Postal Service in Norfolk, Virginia until his retirement.

As an avid athlete, he participated in different baseball and softball teams. He was always willing to help his fellowmen and was often called upon to serve as union representative of his co-workers. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness and served as an elder in the Bay Congregation of Norfolk, Virginia.

Aside from his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his siblings Sylvia, Earland and Leroy.

Left to mourn is one son. Ronald, Jr. (wife Kristyana), stepdaughter Gema, two grands Aviana Dia Amani, Dez Mariano, siblings Ellen (spouse Reynold), Roberto (spouse Carmen), Errol (spouse Camille), Lorna, Glenville, and Marvin, several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
