Rosalee
Wilson
Aug 14, 1923 — Sep 2, 2026
Rosalee Wilson fell asleep in death on September 2, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1923 to the late William J. Whitehurst and Victoria Whitehurst. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Wilson Sr., and her son Lionel Wilson. Rosa was one of seven children: Sarah Smith, Zelpha Jackson, Mable Griffin, Herman Whitehurst, William Whitehurst and Anthony Whitehurst.
Rosa was raised and educated in Princess Anne County. She was employed by the Virginia Beach School System. She accepted Jehovah in her life and became a dedicated member of His organization.
Rosa will be sincerely missed but never forgotten. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Curtis Wilson Jr., Calvin Wilson (Pat), Preston Jones and one daughter, Mary Roberson. Her grandchildren: William Perkins, David Liverman, Antonio Liverman, Kenneth Bradley, Valeria Blount, Rosalind Haynes, Donnel Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Michelle Garner, Kay Loper and Stephanie Davis. She had a host of great grandchildren. She was a foster mother to about 29 children over the years: Albert Owens, Diane Owens, Queenie Pierce, Mickey Pierce and Annette Pierce to name a few and definitely not wanting to leave anyone out. She has a host of nieces, nephews, great great grandchildren, family and friends.
Aunt Rosa Dear, you will be sorely missed. We loved you and know you loved us all more. Take your well-deserved rest, we all will be fine with Jehovah's help.
