Samuel J Brinson Senior, of Chesapeake, passed away peacefully June 4,

2026, just weeks before his 90th birthday.

Samuel was preceded in death by his siblings, Albert Brinson, Harvey

Brinson, Meta Brinson, Francis Moore, Ruth Cipolla, and LoJe Lockey.

LeK to cherish his memory are his son, Samuel J Brinson Junior

(ChrisMne); daughter, Anitra S Lineberry (Brian); stepsons, David Brinson

and John Brinson; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and his

beloved rescue cat Kiki.

Prior to reMring, Samuel worked as a machinist at Berkley Machine

Works and Foundry Company for more than 50 years.

Samuel loved animals and found joy in caring for ”his” many feral cats

on Kay Avenue in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Samuel will be buried in a private graveside service in his hometown of
