Obituary

Dear Family and Friends,

Early Monday morning, September 06, 2021, with a feeling of relief, I received my wings as I entered into a peaceful eternal sleep. My work here was done, I had finished my task and my journey was complete, thank God, He came and rescued me.  You see, while lying on my sick bed, I had a little talk with Jesus, the One, who I knew would make everything alright. Each day with my body racked in pain, I began my walk in the valley of the shadow of death and I stood firmly in my faith, I felt no evil; I knew that the rod and staff had already  comforted me while my table was being prepared.  My Shepherd had been with me through it all and for His Grace and Mercy, I am truly thankful!

Family, as I bid you farewell, first let me ask your forgiveness if I offended you during my journey; for I made it alright with God before my departure. I ask that you do not grieve for me and if you feel you must, do not grieve for long, miss me some but none too much. My final desire was to be whole again; so I looked to God, I prayed and asked Him to take my hand. I asked that He give me peace and carry me to my eternal home, where I would see my mother, my father, my brother and all  those who had gone before me but most of all, at last I would be able to look upon my Savior's face!  Lastly, remember our good times, for Yesterday holds your memories, Today is your gift and Tomorrow has your promise!

So you see, I am okay, God saw my pain, He heard my cry and He set me free!!

Love to All ,

Stephanie

Stephanie Anne Morris Wright was born on March 5, 1959 in the Seatack area of Princess Anne County, Virginia.  She was the youngest of three children born to the union of Arthur and Marybelle Bly Morris.

She was educated in the Virginia Beach City Public School System; she graduated from First Colonial High School in 1977. She completed her work career at NAPA Auto Parts in Virginia Beach.

Stephanie was an avid lover of animals and cars.  She also loved to follow her brothers in their mischievous endeavors, such as climbing trees that she could not climb back down once she reached the top. She was made tough and strong by their boyish pranks, which may have led her being fearless and stubborn in her adulthood.  Stephanie loved to eat a variety of things and possessed a love for cooking.

Stephanie surrendered her life to Christ in the early 2000s, the love of reading scriptures became a part of her daily routine.  Her favorite inspiration saying was, " Tell God about it."

Stephanie was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Marybelle Bly Morris.  She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Lloyd Wright, her brother George C. Morris (Angie), two Sisters-in-law Annette Wright, Janice Mitchell Wright, four brothers-in-law; Bennie (Lorry), Anthony, Lorenzo and Shelton (Beverly); she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Also, Stephanie leaves to embrace her memory, Patty J Williams, who was her confidant, extended caretaker and stood by her side, until her demise.
