On Saturday, September 24, 2022, our precious husband, father, brother, uncle,
cousin, and friend Taras Jessie Davis was called home to rest from his labor to be
with the Lord.
Aectionately known as "Moose," he was born on February 7, 1963, to the late
McClinton T. and Marion Cannon Davis, in Jamaica Queens, N.Y. He was educated in
the St. Albans School system where he excelled in sports and later attended Temple
University.
He was fondly known for his love of cooking, dancing, playing cards and spending
time with family. In his nal days he remained steadfast in his faith in God and his
commitment to family.
Those left to cherish the precious memories of his life and love is his loving wife,
Essie Lindsey Davis, Children: Taras Davis, Neisha N. Hammond, Taras J. Hammond,
Tarrissa Davis, Takeem (Remona) Coleman, Leigha Vrower and Jammal (Zelikia)
Lindsey. Grand-children: Taras J. Davis, Myracle M. Davis, Malia Coleman and Ayden
Coleman. Siblings: Cliord Davis, Brenda Caldwell, Monique Booth, Derrick Davis
and a multitude of family and friends
