Thomas Edward Nixon was born to Fred and Ola Sharrock Nixon on November 1, 1949, in Ossining, New York.
As a youth Tommy (as called by family and friends), was a great athlete and participated in high school sports. Thomas attended Tarrytown Public Schools and was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School where he also developed a love for art and directed his attention. After high school Thomas received a scholarship and attended the New York School for Arts. Afterwards he worked various jobs including drafting. He worked at the National Children Center as a contractor and painter until his health forced him to retire on disability.
Thomas made one of the most important decisions of his life when he dedicated his life to Jehovah, and he was baptized in 1975 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He spent the rest of his life spreading the good news of The Kingdom.
He was married in 1980 to Yvette Victoria Bell who also dedicated her life to serving Jehovah in 1979.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ola Sharrock Nixon, his brother Alfred Nixon, and his twin brother Robert Nixon. He is survived by his wife Yvette, two sons; Timothy (wife Ti_any) and Julian, sister Diane Pratt, one Aunt Mary Dozier, his nephew Matthew Tillman (Marisol) Three grandchildren; Forrest, Tamara, and Earl Johnson, (EJ) and a host of other relatives and friends.
