Thomas Wilson (Tom), 81, of Virginia Beach peacefully passed away on Friday, June 14, in his home surrounded by family.

Tom was born in Jersey City, NJ September 3, 1942. He graduated from Snyders High School and then West Virginia Wesleyan. He had several occupations including a probation officer for teens which then steered him to a teaching career at Bayside High School for a 30-year legacy.

Tom was the son of Albert and Gwendolyn Wilson of Jersey City, NJ. He was married 56 years to Julia Wilson, also a Virginia Beach educator. Tom and Julia have four children, all Bayside Marlin graduates. They have twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
