Vince Parson
Jr.
July 25, 1949 – October 5, 2025
Vince Parson Jr., 76, passed away at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on October 5, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1949, in Savannah, Georgia, and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1963.
After marrying the love of his life, Wanda Yvonne Parson, in 1970, they continued their spiritual journey together for 55 years, dedicating their time and resources to furthering their ministry. Together, they devoted up to 100 hours a month to this work. Vince served in this capacity for over 35 years and spent more than 50 years as a congregation elder, along with many other privileges. His most cherished work was teaching and training others about Jehovah God and His kingdom arrangements.
He leaves behind a loving family: his devoted wife, Yvonne Parson; his son, Jaime Parson, and daughter-in-law, Alison Parson; his daughter, India Jones, and son-in-law, Jeff Jones. He was a proud grandfather to Ava Parson, Jaison Parson, and Jaiden Jones. He is also survived by his sister, Dianna Kinney, along with many cherished relatives and friends who held a special place in his heart.
Vince was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vince and Rosa Parson, and his sister, Delores Hughes. Over the course of his life, he made his home in Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia—often relocating to support areas with a need of ministers. In every community he served, Vince was recognized for his gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast faith in his God, Jehovah. His life was a shining example of devotion and integrity, one truly worthy of imitation.
All who loved Vince Jr. hold dear the words of Jesus at John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." We have absolute faith that, though his death is painful, it is only temporary.
