Virginia (Boodie Jack) Harris was born on May 30th, 1948, to Richard and Thelma Harris. Had passed away peacefully on Jan 11, 2026, surrounded by family.

She attended Virginia Beach Public Schools and graduated from Union Kempsville High School. She continued her education at Tidewater Community College and Norfolk State University. Virginia worked as a Teacher's Assistant at North Landing Elementary School and later retired from the Norfolk Naval Base Supply Center in 2005.

She was a member of Campbell's Chapel Church and later First Pentecostal United Holy Church. A memorial service will be held on Jan 24, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at First Pentecostal United Holy Church (1434 Wilson Road Norfolk VA 23523) where Pastor William Thompson is pastor.
